About Fenella
I’ve always loved jewelry, especially sterling silver with unique stones. This love inspired me to take silversmithing classes, where I discovered a deep connection to the craft — including jewelers in my own family I never had the chance to meet. I named this company in honor of my great-grandmother Fenella, carrying my family legacy forward through each of my handcrafted pieces.
In the 1960s my great-great aunt and uncle owned a rock shop in Salt Lake City called Dowse's Rock Shop. This a vintage clipping of the news article featuring my uncle being named president of the Wasatch Gem society in 1964.
